My visits to Oradea, Romania

This time I went to see some open pools cause it was hot of course every day. Interestingly, the development has not really taken place yet for the pools. We went to some overpriced hotel pool, which was ok. By ok I mean the pool was clean, but there were too many people, the pool was tiny, and the way the whole place was built was simply ridiculous by Western standards. This was surprising to me, as I have experienced most things to be top notch if you pay enougb for them over there.
Anyhow, I have posted some pictures of one of the pools there. Funky!!! This was taken at a four star hotel... quite pathetic indeed!
We ended up at another pool which had waves built in. The interesting part is that that there were about 1000 people in a 30feet x 100 feet pool. Go do the math on that!!! All you saw was skin... quite a pleasant dip. Whenever the waves came on, there was a loud beeping sound to let everybody know and right after that all people were screaming and cheering:)
Alright, if there was not Mafia to deal with, I would build one of those nice public beaches myself and make it real expensive. People would pay for the quality....
I had fun there and I got a nice buzz off the $1 half liter beers I was having by the pool.
