Saint Louis is located in the state of Missouri and happens to be the second largest city in the state. It is also referred to as the ‘Gateway City’ by many people. The city experiences a large footfall of visitors from all over the world every year. There are many sights worth seeing in Saint Louis.
Grant’s Farm
Grant’s Farm is the farmland that belonged to Ulysses S. Grant. Even if, it was initially used as a farm by him, it is now considered to be a major tourist attraction in Saint Louis and has a rich collection of many endangered animal species. Tourists can have a great time while on a visit to this farm.
St. Louis Zoo
The zoo at Saint Louis happens to be the third largest in the United States, and has many animal species there that prove to be a must see. Apart from seeing the animals, people are also allowed to feed some of them.
Gateway Arch
The Gateway Arch is the most famous sight in the city, and people flock in large numbers to have a look at this 630 high structure. The structure was finished in the year 1965 and since then, it has been a major hit with tourists across the world.

Scottish Games & Cultural Festival
The Scottish Games & Cultural Festival is another great tourist attraction in Saint Louis that is held annually. People can have a great time during this festival that is held over a period of two days, during which they can enjoy themselves participating in games, listening to pipe bands or highland dancing.
Muny Theater
Another great attraction in the city includes the Muny Theater that allows people to spend their time watching some good plays that are put up in the theater. The theater also puts up special performance for the hearing impaired and thus provides them with a chance to enjoy plays as well.
