The Avalon Bar and Nightclub caters to the below 30’s crowd. It has fast music and two different rooms and a dance floor made of Brazilian wood. It is well decorated with chandeliers and pleated fabrics. There are a lot of local and touring bands that play there and there is a DJ playing Funk, Soul and R&B, plus Latin, Hip Hop and Rap.
The Empire Events Center is an industrial looking building with cement floors and high ceilings. The clientele is mostly in designer fashion. There are 4 bars and 2 different lounges that you can frequent. The DJ presents rock and Hip Hop to packed crowds every night. They have special events at the center like performers in Psychedelic furs and Lingerie Competitions.
Faces is a nightclub that is overwhelming by its size. It offers dancing, dining and flirting. It sprawls an area that looks much bigger than it feels when you go through it. It is a comfortable club and the staff is very friendly. There is a smaller video bar and a place to do Karaoke every night, a number of people who think of themselves as stars perform on it.
Kbar is a fashionable place to visit. Its bar is always ready for you. The main room has two big plasma TV sets and a full bar including well illuminated bottles on the top shelf. The next room is sunken and has a patio overlooking the street. The patio allows smoking. There is a dance floor inside with its own bar and private areas for the guests who want the wine by the bottle.
Biba is the place to go for Italian seafood while Slocum house takes you through American, International and French culinary delights. The Firehouse serves Californian cuisine at its finest. The Kitchen gives you American food like you have never tasted before.
There are a lot of choices. Just pick what you like and go for it.
