Davaoenos are not only hard working but they know how to enjoy life to reward them after a day’s hard labor. Davao’s nightlife is as lively as life during the day. The increasing number of restaurants and night hangouts such as bars, nightspots and the likes can be found from north to south to offer entertainment and relaxation.

Ballroom enthusiasts can find their way to hotel discos while those singing aficionados can enjoy and sing their hearts out in the numerous KTV bars and Videoke bars in downtown Davao. The Casino Filipino in Davao offers a variety of exciting and fun games with the vibrant Mindanao atmosphere reflected in its interiors.

Hotlegs is a place for those who want to get nasty and naughty. This club, located just in front of the Mandaya hotel, offers enticing hot numbers as they say. The Venue is a resto-bar where you can dance all night, mingle with a lot of people to make new friends while sipping a drink or two. Damosa Gateway is also a resto-bar similar to The Venue. You can order some appetizers and drinks while singing your favorite videoke songs at K1 KTV lounge.

Goodtimes is also a sing-a-long bar located around Sta. Ana Church and Chico’s bar in Rizal Street. At the Channel Disco House you can dance through the night. It is located in San Pedro Davao City. The Matina Town Square (MTS) is a place where you can dance while a live band is playing and finally check out Bullcachong in Gen. Luna St. before going to bed where you can sip hot and spicy soup to avoid the after effects of alcohol the following day.

To some who are not adventurous enough they would say Davao is an early sleeper. Seeing Davao as the typical kind of place, they feel that provincial atmosphere after leaving the busy city streets. But those who are adventurous enough to search for fun and excitement while in the city, find what they are looking for.

Aside from prime hotel’s fine dining and nightlife activities, just simply driving around the downtown of Davao you will not miss a number of exciting food places that offer local delicacies like what they call “ihaw-ihaw”. There are a number of KTV lounges and nice music bars that you cannot miss when roaming around downtown Davao. Enjoying any place is really up to you if you are up for the challenge.

Davao is one hot city that you should not miss to explore when you have the chance to get there.
