Chisinau Nightlife, Moldova
Chisinau is the capital of Moldova and its main economic, cultural and financial centre. Although Moldavians are a small nation, their capital is far from a small town: it is more cosmopolitan then you would think. Cultural diversity, associated with the famous Moldavian hospitality makes Chisinau nightlife a very exciting experience.

If you feel like spending a little more in order to get a taste of Chisinau’s high life, you can try one of the following restaurants: View Café & Restaurant, English Cigars Club or Nobil Italian Restaurant. No matter what choices you make, be sure that you accompany your meal with some tasty Moldavian wine.
Chisinau Nightlife – Where to Party
When it comes to dancing and partying, Chisinau nightlife won’t disappoint you. A night out in Chisinau usually follows the common ritual: in the evening, friends gather around a drink in some café or pub. Around midnight, they move their establishment in some trendy club, ready to hit the dance floor. Some of the most popular bars in Chisinau are Anaconda, Crazy Horse, Nostalgie, Penthouse Café, and Visa. As for discos, here you can listen to a wide range of genres, from oldies to electro. The list of famous Chisinau discos includes: Dance Planet, 50/50, 1001 de Nopti VIP Party Club, Drive and Grammy.
Chisinau Nightlife – Cultural Events
Judging by Chisinau’s size, its number of theater halls and theatre companies is really impressive. There are over seven theaters spread around the city centre, some of them giving representations in Russian (Teatrul Dramatic Rus de Stat A. P. Cehov). Some of the oldest and most prestigious Chisinau theatres are Teatrul ‘Eugen Ionescu’ and Teatrul Municipal ‘Satiricus I.L. Caragiale’ (comedy theatre). Classical music concerts usually take place at the Chisinau Philharmonic or in the Sala cu Orga concert hall. Although the manes of Chisinau cinemas still have some socialist resonances, they are pretty decent and play good movies – try Cinema Odeon, Cumulus Cinema Club or Moldcinema. If you visited some of the big western capitals, Chisinau might seem a little too ‘Eastern-European’, but keep an open mind and you’ll soon realize this is part of its charm. In addition, since you are already traveling in this part of Europe, why not go a little further southeast and check Odessa Nightlife or Iasi Nightlife?
