Another architectural masterpiece is Église Notre Dame de la Chapelle. This is the oldest Gothic church in Brussels built in 1134. When you visit the chapel you actually feel the ambiance of that era.

Cathédrale des Sts Michel & Gudule is also a great piece of construction in the town. Other significant places of classy architecture are the: Domaine Royal, the 18th century Church of Église Notre Dame du Finistère, modern styled European Parliament and the Maison Cauchie
