Francisco Goitia Museum happens to be a brand new museum. The museum if famous not only for the huge number of historical artifacts which it has preserved but also for the beautiful architecture of the monument in which it is housed and also for the lush green surroundings of this beautiful monument. This museum was built under the supervision of the famous Spanish architect namely Maximo de la Pedraja. During those days, it was built after the governor of the city ordered one such monument which was to be used as his residence. The museum is also famous for the huge collection of artwork collected from various corners of Mexico.

Altavista is situated around 50 kilometers from the heart of the city and in the nearby town named Chalchihuites. It was extensively used by the Chalchahuites as their ceremonial site.
