Aguascalientes Sights and Landmarks Guide, Mexico

Aguascalientes is the perfect vacation spot in Mexico for everything that it offers visitors to do and see.   You can find a variety of activities for whatever you and your family members like.  If you are an active family, you can play a round of golf at one of Aguascalientes great courses such as the Country club Pulgas of the Club Campestre de Aguascalientes.

Those who are interested in art and architecture, a trip to Aguascalientes is not complete without seeing the Municipal Palace, the government palace, the Palace Gardens, the Legislative Palace and the Plaza Patria which all have stunning architecture and views of the surrounding area.  Some of these buildings have colonial style architecture or neoclassical architecture.  Some of the materials used include beautiful rose quarry and tezontle stone.

Considering the importance of religion in Mexico, you can find a variety of churches to see which also have phenomenal architecture and interesting histories.  The following are the churches located in Aguascalientes: San Marcos, Guadeloupe, San Antonio Temple, Main cathedral, Religious Pinacotheca, and Purisima.
