Montego Bay Nightlife, Jamaica

Montego Bay is the place to visit in Jamaica not only for its many places of attraction, but also for its bustling and exciting nightlife. A visit to Montego Bay at night will be an unforgettable one; all you have to do is to go to the Hip Strip, the part of Montego Bay which never sleeps.

Hip Strip is only a mile and a half long, but offers nightlife excitement that is much longer. There are restaurants, nightclubs and hotels to keep you entertained here at every turn. The Margharitaville is the hotspot of Montego Bay, situated in the center of Hip Strip. This nightclub attracts people of all ages, with all sorts of sexual, dancing and drinking convictions. The specialty of this nightclub is its three levels. You find music, dance and special drinks in the first level while the second level offers live shows. The third level is a special one, where you can just relax yourself in a tropical Jacuzzi.

Find a jungle in Coral Cliff

The Coral Cliff is found opposite Margharitaville, and is the only casino in Montego Bay. It is open 24 hours a day and offers you a plethora of free rum drinks while you play. The restaurant is also open 24 hours a day and you find live shows here every night.

Within the Coral Cliff is the nightclub called Rum Jungle with jungle interiors. There is a variety of live shows here every night like cabaret acts and calypso bands. The Brewery is a local nightspot of Montego Bay that is open only on weekends. This restaurant turns into a club after hours, when the party continues outside.

Hotels and resorts also have nightclubs

The Voyage is found in the Aguasol Theme Park where you find beach parties, live music and theme parties held every night. The Doctor’s Cave Beach is another favorite spot of Montego Bay which is a 24 hour bar with a dance area extending to the beach. Like most bars in Montego Bay, there are also live performances held here every day.

Besides all these joints, the hotels and resorts of Montego Bay also have their own nightclubs and bars. One such resort is Breezes, where you find four bars offering a variety of entertainment like pajama parties, karaoke and steel bands for your nightlife entertainment.

Therefore, you can see that Montego Bay is a haven for night owls with night spots that suit anyone’s tastes. You can drink as you want, dance when you want or just take a romantic moonlight stroll when in Montego Bay.

  Please stay away from Sol de Caribbean Villa in Montego Bay, Jamaica. All our party got food poisoning at villa. The tv, fridge, air conditioner, dishwasher did not work. Bad food preparation which cause a lot of vomitting and diarrhoea during our week stay. Owner did not care and refuse to...
