The Fisheries and Maritime Museum and Sealarium are one of the cities unique sights. You can see the relics of the early Esbjerg fishing fleet here. The Sealarium is a branch of the seal research center that usually adopts and rescue pups that are stranded on land. The Svend Wiig Hansen’s sculpture can also be seen in the museum.

To feel the holiness, visit the Vor Frelser Church located in the Kirkegade 24. The church was built in 1887 and is known to be the oldest church. In 1896, the church was enlarged and 700 seats were added. Ole Soenderga decorated the church with pictures when it was renovated in 1928.
