Empire Cabaret

One of the rare places where a bar can cater to almost any preference in music and drinks, the Empire Cabaret encompasses three floors in the building that once housed the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce. Each floor has its own theme, with its own music. It even has an oxygen bar and martini lounge where patrons can sit and relax while watching the people in the dance floor. The Empire Cabaret is open from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m., and admission costs 5 Canadian dollars each.

Shannon’s Irish Pub

Barely a year old, Shannon’s Irish Pub is one of the freshest scenes in Winnipeg’s night life arena. However, it is not to be outdone. The pub offers relaxing, live music. If the energy level has gotten high, everyone can hit the dance floor, which is so huge that it can barely be filled up. The pub seems to value the inputs of its customers well. It has a message board, and in here, customers can write their feedback, either good or bad, which the management then considers.
