Don't miss while in Paralia, Greece

Paralia or Paralia Katerini is a little town on the seaside, actually paralia means beach so this town could be the beach of the nearby little city Katerini. Here most of the buildings are hotels, apartment houses and of course different kinds of shops. I don't know how many locals live here but they surely are many times fewer than the tourists.
Paralia has a little park with fountains, too. We had an interesting story with this park :) The first day when we went to see the town we found this park but we didn't really memorized the way to get there. On the second day I wanted to go back there to take some pictures but we didn't find it... we thought it disappeared :) we went through all the possible roads, we searched even where we were sure we're not going to find it... finally we found it, but I think it wasn't on the same day, and it was behind our hotel :)
At night all the streets are full with people who are eating and drinking in one of the many bars, fast foods and restaurants of the town; others are shopping. There are many souvenir shops, but also shops selling jewelery made of gold or silver, hand-decorated china, cloths made of leather, soaps and other things made of olives, and many other things.
Paralia it's not a big town, so you can't get lost, so I advise you to take long walks in the town... the sunset is beautiful :)

Pieria combines sea and forested mountains at the same time offering splendid landscapes for travelers and adventurers to explore. It also combines beaches and mountains in the same region as well as ancient sites with modern elements of architecture, a dreamland! The most impressive spot that can be found in Paralia is its white beautiful orthodox church on the Promenade, rising right on the shore. Typically Greek, the church is such a marvelous masterpiece of architectural sacral building!Paralia Travel Guide – Public Transport & Accommodation Paralia is accessible from the main highways GR-13 and GR-1/E75, which links...
