Paralia is a beautiful cosmopolitan beach resort located 4 km east of Katerini and 70 km south of Thessaloniki, in the prefecture of Pieria, in the southern part of Central Macedonia, Greece. A busy network of national and regional bus service provides the best links between the main sites and the Riviera resorts. Car rental services are also available.
Hotels ranging from 1-star to 3-star offer the most affordable commodities and amenities at various rates. Villa rentals are also available at low rates. Booking in advance is really necessary. There might be no vacancy during the high season.

Paralia or Paralia Katerini is a little town on the seaside, actually paralia means beach so this town could be the beach of the nearby little city Katerini. In Paralia-Katerini we staid in Akti Musson hotel and we were really pleased. It's not a luxorious place, of course, but very nice. In Paralia you can rent two kind of vehicle: a scooter (there are small ones for one person and bigger ones for two persons too) or an ATV. Those motorbikes are very cool, I strongly recommend you to try them out, and they are really... - My best tip: try out the scooter-traveling!
