Los Angeles, California

Huge, cosmopolitan, vibrant, fascinating with remarkable, lovely beaches and somewhat ostentatious places, the city speaks for itself, it is an extremely dynamic place, just like in the movies. I myself nicknamed it "the fun loving city" because of the loads of opportunities it offers partying and other leisure activities.
Like in most parts of California, the weather is phenomenal, there are people of many types. I've seen a lot of eccentric ones though. There's always something going on in the city and it's rarely tedious. Because of it's size the traffic is dreadful and I highly recommend avoiding it by using public transportation and bycicles.
I stayed at Venice Beach, which is an extremely renowned place because of it's hippie influenced tone, amazing beach with a lovely view of Malibu, and exciting vibe. The best part for me was that I rented a bike and cycled from Venice Beach to Redondo Beach, visiting everything with it's piers, and back from Redondo to Santa Monica and Pacific Palisades.
While I was in LA, I Malibu, and Long Beach. I was very intrigued about Orange County, visiting Huntington Beach, Newport Beach and Dana Point.
I suggest that If you have the opportunity just visit the city cause it's really an amazing place. It has so much to offer.

In order to sustain future growth, huge engineering projects were started to bring more water to the city. Los Angeles hosted the Olympic Games of 1932. A great Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum was established in 1923. It was designed to accommodate 76,000 people; later it was expanded with the seating capacity of 100,000 spectators.... Read more »
