The city of Santo Domingo faces many numbers of hurricanes due to its location which is in the Caribbean Sea. It was the year 1930 when a sever hurricane named San Zenon hit the city of Santo Domingo and caused a lot of damages. The huge River Ozama flows right through the city and empties into the Caribbean Sea. It was the River Ozama which gifted the city with a port that soon became the busiest port in the country. [...]
