Corpus Christi is the largest coastal- city of the southern Texas region, United States. The name, “Corpus Christi” is Latin word that means the “Body of Christ”. It is the seat for Nueces County and extends till Kleberg, San Patricio and Aransas counties. Corpus Christi is nicknamed as The Sparkling City by the sea, specifically in literature in order to promote the tourism of this land. This city basically offers a home to Naval Air Station Corpus Christi along with being served by Corpus Christi International Airport.

Among the very popular tourist attractions of the place are the Miradors which are small and gazebo like structures that are found along the bay front of Corpus Christi. At the Bird Island Basin people enjoy a lot of wind surfing and bird watching is also a great activity here. Magee beach also draws a lot of people owing to its splendid beauty.
