Texas State Aquarium This aquarium is a natural habitat and study and protection centre for the various aquatic species that are found in the Gulf of Mexico. Promotion and conservation of the aquatic environment in the Gulf Coast region and wildlife rehabilitation are the main priorities of this aquarium.
Heritage Park and Cultural Center This is a place of historical interest that houses 11 Victorian homes. Tourists love to explore this place that is a standing symbol of the city’s cultural diversity and rich cultural heritage.
Centennial House This is another house belonging to the mid Victorian period. It was erected in 1848 and has recently been restored and opened to the public.
The Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd This church has a strange history for it started celebrating and holding its services from the mid Victorian period onwards, yet it did not have any permanent building where the congregation could gather for Mass. The current building was erected in 1950! This church is involved in many charity programs like youth groups and missionary work.
Saint Pius X Masses are held in this Catholic Church all through the week and also in the weekend. Programs and services like general ministry, youth ministry programs, a men’s club and a bridge club are offered by this church to its community members.
Saint Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church This church was erected in 1950 and an annual Greek Festival is also hosted by the parish. Father Stelios Sitaras leads the service both during the weekdays and the weekend.
Island Presbyterian Church This church is situated on the north Padre Island. Worship services are offered on Sundays. Community members can avail of services, groups and events like youth outreach, youth councils, bells and choirs, Men’s Fellowship etc.
Museums Corpus Christi also has a number of museums that you would like to visit. They are the Art Center of Corpus Christi, U.S.S. Lexington - Museum on the Bay, The Selena Museum, Texas Surf Museum, Corpus Christi Museum of Science And History, The Texas State Museum of Asian Cultures And Education Center, Cool Cats Toy Museum and South Texas Institute for the Arts.
