Saginaw Nightlife, Michigan

Saginaw City, Michigan, has great many watering holes and night-time entertainment venues. Guests are usually entertained till the wee hours of the morning at most of these city venues.

Unlike many cities, which have many reservations against gays and lesbians, Saginaw nightlife is open to all. Beside the venues, which entertain all irrespective of sexual preferences, there are many entertainment venues meant especially for gays and lesbians.

Saginaw Nightlife – Watering Holes

Speaking of drinking holes, Saginaw has a host of bars, lounges and pubs. The best area bars include Rogs Bar (at 2350 S Michigan Ave), Someplace Else (at 118 N Michigan Ave.) Smokey's Bar (at 304 Shattuck Rd.), Todd's Bar (at 5346 Dixie Hwy.), Watering Trough Saloon (7734 Gratiot Rd.) and White's Bar (2609 State St.)

Among the famous lounges are names like Alexander’s (at 417 S Michigan Ave.), Baywood Lounge (at 2734 Bay Rd.), Cadillac Lounge (at 1704 Veterans Memorial Pkwy), Larry's Lounge (at 7, Hammond Rd.), Snip & Dale's (at 1403 State St.), Scottish Inn (630 Gratiot Ave.), etc.

Hamilton Street is a good address to go looking for real Irish pubs. The Hamilton Street Pub (at 308 S Hamilton St.) is a good place to drop in for some Irish wine. You will also get to hear good Irish music. Shenaningan's Irish Pub (207 N Hamilton St.) and Steamers Pub South (209 N Hamilton St.) are within easy distance and you can check out both.

In addition to a number of Bar & Grill restaurants like Applebee's Neighborhood Bar & Grill (5940 State St.), Savoy Bar & Grill (127 S Franklin St.) and Timbers Bar and Grill (6415 State Street), Saginaw also has specialty bars. Hooters of Saginaw (at 5538 Bay Rd.) is a sports bar. Genji's at 3870 Bay Rd. and Hello Sushi at 2575 Tittabawassee Rd. are two Japanese Sushi bars. There is also an Italian coffee/gelato bar in Saginaw city – Magic Bean Café.

Saginaw Nightlife – Nightclubs

We start with Bambis Bottoms Up at 1742 E Genesee Ave. This is the place to try out if you are in Saginaw for a day. With excellent bartenders and DJ’s, the service is just fabulous; to spice it up, BBU has separate gay, lesbian and bisexual bars.

Visit Saginaw Club (at 219 N Wahington) for a taste of Saginaw nightlife or dance the night away at the other city nightclubs like Déjà vu (at 6530 Bay Rd.), Kosciuszko Club (at 1325 Hess Ave), Paw & Taws Square Dance Club (at 163 Strieter Dr) or Wolga Club (at 1004 Maple St.).

Saginaw city also has a couple of Comedy Clubs - Saginaw Comedy Inc. (at 220 N Hamilton St.) and Shooters (at 8845 Gratiot Rd.).

If you are ready to venture outside the city, you can try out the night-time entertainment venues of the neighboring cities like Bay City and Midland
