Formerly called Lower Saginaw and Hampton, Bay City is a city in Michigan, US located NW of Saginaw Bay. It is the county seat of Bay County and is part of the Tri-Cities Area, with Midland and Saginaw Bay. Its total land area is 11.3 sq. miles.
