It had inmates for about 34 long years, during which it had been the complete setback for criminals with sentences of five years on an average.
Coit Tower on Telegraph Hill
Constructed in the year 1933, it was built to dedicate the volunteer fire fighters of California, who had risked their lives for the good. The tower is truly a crowned jewel to the beautiful city, and provides a grand 360 degree view of the city and the bay from the Telegraph Hill.

Fisherman’s Wharf
For any visitor, this is a must place to visit and is as popular as the Golden Gate Bridge, considering the variety of sea food obtained here, especially crabs, in association with great relaxing atmosphere. Individuals get to see the several maritime ventures, which they might have thought never existed and a lot more at Ghirardelli Square.
