Anaheim, in the Orange County of California, USA is a beautiful place to visit and the sights and attractions are numerous and varied.
AAA Electra 99
The distinctive feature of this contemporary art museum and gallery is that it exhibits the creations of artists without forcing them to stick to the rules and regulations of the gallery.
Among all the exhibits that are on display, some are for display only and others are for open for sale. There is a permanent gallery which hosts regular exhibitions.
Disneyland Park
If you are with kids, you cannot miss the several amusement and theme parks in Anaheim.
One such and the most popular is the Disneyland Park offering games, shows, refreshment corners, mascots, rides and many other fun filled activities. It is almost a miniature city in itself. Don’t miss visiting Adventure land, Frontier land, Tomorrow land and Fantasy land.
Disneyland Resort
It is a recreational resort clubbed with 3 hotels, dining facilities, shopping corners, and 2 theme parks - operated and owned by the Walt Disney Company.
Disney’s California Adventure Park
Apart from 16 shops and 20 refreshment corners, it features 31 attractions that include a totem ceremony, King Triton’s Carousel and an electrical parade. It is located just a hop across the bridge opposite its namesake park.
Adventure City
This one can be enjoyed by kids and adults alike. A roller coaster, 16 different kinds of hair raising rides, a children’s theatre and a petting farm are its main attractions.
The Grove of Anaheim
It is one of the most famous auditorium/theatres of California and is renowned for its cozy and intimate ambience. Show nights can be clubbed with on the site dinners.
The seating arrangement is rather unique and all the seats are placed at a maximum distance of 24 m or 80 feet from the stage. It hosts big ticket concerts like those of the Gypsy Kings, George Jones, Erykah Badu and others.
Angel Stadium of Anaheim
If you are a sports junkie, you must take a look round the spectacular stadiums of Anaheim including Angel Stadium that was formerly named Edison International Field. It’s a baseball field of your favorite team, Angels.
Honda Center
This arena hosts sporting events like baseball, ice skating, as well as theatrical performances, circus, family shows, concerts etc. It also features concession stands and restaurants for visitors. This is Anaheim Mighty Ducks’ home turf.
