Located in the north-central parts of Arizona, the vibrant city of Page flaunts the beautiful Canyon Dam and Lake Powell. It was formed in 1957 at an altitude of 4,505 feet above the sea level. Page, today is the hub of the Grand Circle, which is nothing but a very big collection of monuments, national parks, state parks, historical sites and geological formations. It is due the credit of these previously mentioned beauties that Page is capable of attracting more than 4 million visitors every year.
Page Travel -Location & Climate
Located on the northwestern parts of United States, it captures a total of 17 square miles of land. To add to the beauty, Page boasts of Colorado River Rafting, Antelope Canyon and many more. The river led to the formation of many dams of which, The Canyon Dam is one of the largest in the entire United States. The area has a mild desert climate and because of this, discovering the lake becomes quite affordable.

According to the latest census conducted in 2000, the total population of the town was 6505. The density of population was 395 persons per square kilometers during that period. $17,955 was the value of the per capita income and about 15.5% of the population lived below the poverty line.

The region has a very good connections to the adjoining ones. Both roadways and airways form major connecting modems for Page. The city runs in buses though cabs and hired bikes are also available. Railways also carry a huge number of passengers. Trans-American Railways, which connect it to its neighboring provinces, is one of the best in the world. The city also flaunts a big National and International Airport, which houses several airlines, including Air America.
Page Travel -Accommodation
Page prides itself on the fact that it is one of those rarest cities, which flaunts some of the finest accommodation facilities in the country. From starred hotels to cheap rented houses, from exotic resorts to dormitories, it has everything in store. Add to it, most of the deluxe hotels have spa facilities. There are self-catering apartments also. As the city is positioned at a higher altitude, window views become quite impressive. The most spectacular view can be enjoyed when one gets a view of the volcanic mountain from his room.

We spent the night at some cheap hotel, and did not care either, we were so tired and really couldn't be bothered with anything besides maybe finishing a few more beers before hitting the sack :) The next day we woke up all fresh and ready to see another amazing sight, Antelope Canyon. After we visited Antelope Canyon at noon, we ate something at this Mexcian place, which was really nice. Strange how we simply cannot get this sort of Mexican food back in Europe. Anyhow, I really like the place, and the Coronas that came with the meals :)After lunch, we headed down to Wahweap...
