The city of Jeddah is part of Saudi Arabia and is amongst the few cities of Saudi Arabia that have become the backbone of the Saudi Arabian Economy. The city of Jeddah is located on the sides of Red Sea and this increases the scenic beauty of this city.

A huge chunk of land in Saudi Arabia is desert land which is severely hot during summers and cold during winters. There is a plateau on the central section of the country and mountainous region somewhere in the western sides. The coastal plain which is next to the Red Sea is another area worth living and this is where the city of Jeddah is located. The city of Jeddah faces the Red Sea on its western side, Al - Sarawat Mountains from the eastern side, and Sharm of Salman from the northern side. Although the city of Jeddah does not possess even a single river yet there is a small Sharm Ob’hur which connects the famous Red Sea to the next end of this city.

The city of Jeddah has been facing heavy air pollution during last couple of years due to the increase in number of factories and vehicles in and around the city. The intensity of air pollution rises heavily during hot summer months. Even water pollution has hit the city due to the presence of water treatment factory. The government of Jeddah has created some very strict laws which are the reason why the pollution level are still under control when you compare them with other cities like Mecca.

The annual average temperature for the city of Jeddah is around 27 degrees Celsius. The highest temperature ever recorded in the city of Jeddah was 42 degrees Celsius. The lowest temperature ever recorded in the city of Jeddah was 9 degrees Celsius. The annual average maximum temperature for the city of Jeddah is around 33 degrees Celsius while the annual average minimum temperature for the city of Jeddah is around 22 degrees Celsius. Rainfall is a rare case when it comes to the city of Jeddah and you might see little rainfall during the months of December but don’t expect too much of it due to the location of Jeddah which is around deserted land.
