Doha Nightlife, Qatar

Doha nightlife is predominantly based on the various Western and international hotels that are scattered around the city. However, when inside these hotels, you totally absolve yourself of the conservative surrounding city because freedom to do whatever you want inside those clubs is allowed. However, one must realize that he is unable to take this raucous behavior outside. Despite that, nightlife in Doha still spells fun owing to inexpensive drinks, groovy music that gets everybody going and the overall fun behavior of the bar clientele.

 Al-Multaqa houses the Diplomatic Club, which is of British feel. If one is up for a retreat of cigars, liquors, fish, and chips, then this is the perfect place to visit. Another famous club is the Cloud Nyn found in the Mewreb Hotel, it is home to pop flair with courteous staff and attendants ready to serve anyone with the various delectable meals in the menu or a taste of their well-priced alcoholic concoctions. The La Paloma in the Intercontinental Doha adds Latino flavor to the Doha nightscape with its after-party place, with DJ mixing some live music, and bar full of drinks keeping the capital alive into the wee hours of the morning. Aussie Legends found at the Rydges Hotel provides an Old World feel that can enliven the homesick westerner. Lastly, Habanos also found at the Ritz provides a bluesy and jazzy feel while the guest can puff on his favorite cigar available in the bar to the tune of a pianist or a Reggae band. However, if it is dining you are after, there are a lot of choices in Doha that range from inexpensive to luxurious. The Turkey Central found in Al-Mirghab Street offers an affordable yet delicious Eastern food. The best Fish still on that road offers local fish dishes at reasonable prices. Their bestseller is known as the Grilled Hammour with garlic butter. In Ritz, you can also find a unique yet authentic Italian restaurant known as Il Rustico.

Of course, the typical fast-food chains like McDonalds, Pizza Hut and KFC are found all over the city should you be missing a taste of home away from home. While it is true that nightlife choices are not as numerous as any non-Arab city in the world, one must realize that they are on foreign soil and their rules apply. Despite that, there are still other ways of having a good time like visiting interesting places. However, should the party animal roar in you, the international hotels are the only places to go.
