Lublin History
During the Renaissance period, Lublin developed quickly. The most significant trade fairs conducted by the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth were organized in the city. The region surrounding the city was merged to create the Lublin Voivodeship. For several times, the city was host to the noble parliaments.
