Lublin History
During the Renaissance period, Lublin developed quickly. The most significant trade fairs conducted by the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth were organized in the city. The region surrounding the city was merged to create the Lublin Voivodeship. For several times, the city was host to the noble parliaments. There are three modes of transportation that commuters can use when exploring the city – bus, trolleybus and taxi. Lublin is served by 50 bus lines and they are the cheapest public transports.
