Location
Las Pinas is a hundred year old city encompassed by Paranaque city in the North and Muntinlupa City in the East. To the south of the city is Imus Municipality, whereas in the west is Baccoor. Manila bay and Guadalupe plateau are two of its zones.
Climate
Las Pinas faces two climates a year. These are the dry and wet climates. The temperature hovers around 30 degrees in the drier months, which commences in November and continues till April. The rest of the time, the wetter months are predominant. Rainfall is sporadic but can get fairly torrential at times.

People of Las Pinas are laid-back, but hospitable. They are actively involved in three major activities of the region, namely farming, salt making and fishing. The voice of the city is very gentle and thus, visitors develop a bond on their first trip.

On February 14, the Las Pinas people celebrate this festival to commemorate what is a unique organ and also the fact that it has been well received and preserved by its folks. Altogether, this makes for some real extravaganza and locals along with visitors enjoy it to the fullest. Local and overseas artists use music as a platform to hail the Bamboo organ.
Transportation
Coastal road connects Manila to Las Pinas. Any bus plying from the Taft Avenue and headed to Zapote or Cavite will bring you to Las Pinas. The amount charged for the trip is generally P50.00. For reaching the place from Cebu or Manila, you have to take the air route or the sea route. Cebu-pacific and Philippine airlines are best bets for tourists to the city. There are domestic as well as international carriers. Jeepneys, taxi cabs and tricycles are best options for traveling within the city.
