Dilasag is a municipality in the province of Aurora, Philippines. It has a population of more than 20,000 people. Most of the populationworks in agriculture and fishing industries. The town of Dilasag is expanded over 323,954 hectares of land.

Originally, the municipality of Dilasag was composed of different towns including Esperanza, Dimamisit and Mangetahan. In 1959, these towns separated from each other and emerged as a separate entity. Since then the town of Dilasag has its own entity.

The town of Dilasag is bordered with Isabela and Qurino to the north and with Nueva Ecija and Nueva Viscaya to the West.

The town of Dilasag has been regarded as one of the most beautiful places in the province of Aurora. The town of Dilasag is blessed with beautiful landscapes and attractions. There are many popular sights and attractions in Dilasag.

The landscapes of Dilasag are famous throughout the Philippines. Some of the most popular attractions in Dilasag are Canaware, Baler Catholic Church, Quezon House, Quezon Memorial Park and Aurora Quezon Marker.

The province of Aurora covers the Sierra Madre Mountains range. So it is known as a mountainous region. There is a big drainage system in the whole province of Aurora. The drainage system consists of these rivers: Aguang River, Baler, Ditale River, Dipaculao, Calabgan River, Casiguran, Sinagnuan River, Dingalan, Dibatuan River, Dipaculao and Ibuna River, Dingalan etc.

Politically the town of Dilasag is divided into the 11 barangays. Some of the main barangays include Dilaguidi, Maligaya, Manggitahan, Esperanza, Diagyan, Dicabasan, Lawang and Ura etc. The town of Dilasag is administered by a mayor.

The town of Dilasag is home to some of the most popular educational institutes. These institutes include Dilasag Adventist Elem. School, Manggitahan NHS, Homeschooled in Dilasag and Dilasag NHS etc. These institutes serve not only the locals but also people from other parts of Aurora.

Fishing, agriculture and trading have been the major occupations of most of the people. Fishing is the major source of income of men and women alike. Many people work in tourism. There are many resorts, villas, guesthouses and hotels that provide all types of accommodation facilities to the tourists.

The climate of Dilasag has been characterized by heavy rainfall. Dilasag witnesses heavy rainfall in the months of January, February, March, October and November.
