Serene Hot Springs
Most of Calamba’s recreational facilities and spa centers are located in Barangay Pansol. Mt. Makiling’s hot springs provide a relaxing and rejuvenating experience that can ease any weary mind.
The Laguna Hot Spring Resort is the province’s oldest hot spring attraction with gorging warm waters beneath. It also offers affordable room and hotel rates that really suit the budget.

A very famous landmark that is not to be missed in Calamba is the Rizal Shrine, a refurbished colonial-style home of Dr. Jose Rizal, the nation’s hero. This ancestral abode features a museum and houses historic antiquities and relics.
The Japanese Memorial Garden commemorates the fallen Japanese soldiers of World War II. It is the site where the Japanese Imperial General Tomoyuki Yamashita was tried and executed. Today, this vast garden park offers a scenic landscape overlooking a lake.
The town of Paete features the Paete Church, an old church dating back to the Spanish era. The town is also famous for its decorative woodcarvings and artistic paper maché, which guests often buy as mementos.
