The city of Baguio is situated in the Island of Luzon which is part of Philippines. Since then the city never looked back and its political importance has grown immensely.
The language being spoken in the city of Baguio is lbaloi. In this local language the word bagiw means moss and this word was used to name the city of Baguio. The huge city of Baguio has been divided into 130 different barangays where the word barangays means village or district in the local Filipino language. The division of a city into multiple barangays helps the government of the city to administer the city with ease.
The climate for the city of Baguio is generally cool and this kind of climate attracted many artists to this city between the years 1970s till 1990s. During those times the cost of living in this city of Baguio was very cheap and this was another reason why so many people relocated to this city. Same is the reason why the city of Baguio had become the hub of various artists who were relocating to this city of Baguio from different parts of this planet.
The city of Baguio has always been favorable to students and same is the reason why it has some of the very famous universities of Philippines. There is a huge chunk of population in the city of Baguio that is still studying and hence the interest in digital arts etc has increased immensely amongst the locals of the city. The city of Baguio has been gifted with Loakan Airport which is around 20 minutes away from the heart of the city. The airport isn’t very huge and hence the runway of this airport is able to support small aircrafts only. Due to fog in evenings flights take off from the city of Baguio only during mornings.
