The city of Tepic happens to be the largest city in terms of population for the state of Nayarit, Mexico. The city of Tepic is also the capital city for the state of Nayarit, Mexico. The city of Tepic is also the seat for Roman Catholic Diocese which was erected in June 23rd, 1891. The presence of this famous diocese happens to be another reason why the city of Tepic is so important for the country of Mexico.
