Pachuca Sights and Landmarks Guide, Mexico

The city of Pachuca is full of many haciendas which were used in past to produce pulque or extract silver. The city of Pachuca is also famous for great hot water springs, natural tourist hot spots, huge mountains, and untouched nature which have been preserved by the local government to promote tourism. The city of Pachuca has lots of sights, thus attracting many history lovers.

You can go fishing in various lakes; go hiking or camping; and visit dams all being located in the proximity of the city. The atmosphere of this city is perfect for enjoying a picnic you’re your friends or family without being interrupted. On the other hand if you are the adventurous type then you can hit various grottoes or caves.

Traditional Towns are a must visit due to their design and architecture. These are located around 30 minutes by road from the city of Pachuca and thus they can be reached easily by taxi. Two towns you must visit when you are in this city are Huasca de Ocampo and Real del Monte. Both towns will give you the feel of colonial architecture, with happening cobbled streets, and great locals who are always ready to help tourists. El Chico National Park is famous for mountains which are completely covered by different Oyamel trees and many pine trees. This huge national park is also famous for the awesome rock formation. This park happens to be the very first national park in the country of Mexico started in the 1800s. You get the chance to enjoy the wildlife of this park as well as go for adventurous mountain biking adrenaline.
