The city of Cuernavaca is part of Morelos (a state in the country of Mexico). Cuernavaca is also the largest city of Morelos and it’s the capital city too. The awesome weather of this city has given it the tag of city of eternal springs and has made it the ultimate place to be whenever you visit the country of Mexico.

The city of Cuernavaca is located in the proximity of Mexico City and this proximity with the capital of this country has made this city very important on the national map. As per the census of year 2005 the population in the city of Cuernavaca was around 330000 inhabitants while the population for the municipality of this city was around 350000 inhabitants. The city of Cuernavaca stretches over an area of 150 kilometer square. This area covers various tiny localities which are located around the city of Cuernavaca.

The economy of Cuernavaca depends on various manufacturing and many services which are spread in and around the city of Cuernavaca. Along with these, some of the historical agricultural activities are also responsible for driving the economy of this city. Sugar cane was introduced into the city of Cuernavaca by Cortes and various African slaves were brought into the city of Cuernavaca so as to work into various cane fields. Other then sugar some other major products of this city are tropical fruits, corn, and beans.
