Antique Theater in Varos. Built in the 2nd century BC, this performance edifice was excavated between 1960 and 1962. It used to be a stadium where battles between gladiators happened. Plaosnik Church. This is an Early Christian Episcopal Church that was excavated between 1961 and 1964. The church was constructed in the 5th century and erected in the shape of a trefoil. The Talev family is the only family who designs the Ohrid pearls. The family has been creating the pearls since 1924 and the secret of how to make them is strictly passed from father to son only. Jewel experts attest that the pearl can last to eternity. Some of the famous people who have fallen under the pearl’s spell are Queen Elizabeth II of Britain and the former prime minister of Sweden Anna Lindh.
