Mazzin Travel Guide, Italy
This is the smallest mountain resort in the Fassa Valley and it is composed by the neighboring villages of Campestrin and Fontanazzo, but it is rich in history which has left its mark on the site. It is here that you can see an example of rustic manor house.
There is an excavation site at Col di Pigui, the small wooded hill facing the town where many ancient artifacts dating 2,500 years ago have been brought to light.
Being the smallest resort in the Fassa valley it is also the most peaceful with only about 500 inhabitants. But it is not at all isolated its central location in the valley gives you the possibility to get to it from every point in the valley.
