Nagpur, India has a very limited nightlife due to the police restrictions in the city. There are four popular hangouts and clubs here. Most of the pubs are discos on Saturday night. You’ll find there are restrictive hours on the clubs with most not operating past midnight. You might find a few that extend the hours, but that is a rarity.

There are frequently checks by the traffic police to find those who drink and drive. It’s not safe anyway, but it can really cause serious legal problems. If you drive at night, you’ll find the streets aren’t crowded and they are fully lit up. This is a great option if you don’t feel like clubbing, as you can jump on your bike or car and take a long drive.

The four clubs are the Zing, on Mount Road, Rhythm and Blues, at the Hotel Uli International, Sheesh, at the Hotel Skylark, and Moksh, at Sita Buildi.

You can find some restaurants to help you pass the evening. Ashoka is a very restaurant, but is somewhat more expensive than others are. The quality of the food and the ambiance inside are really very good. This is a good place to entertain the foreign clientele, but it is often hard to find a parking place

If you are not looking to impress anyone, but want some good food at a great price, then try the Sanjha Chullah Restaurant. There is plenty of room to sit and the food is well cooked and is not expensive.

If you are in Nagpur, India, you’ll find nightlife if you know where to look for it. Ask the front desk for suggestions, but follow their advice on avoiding pitfalls. The rules are very strict in Nagpur and you don’t want to get into trouble.
