Szeged Nightlife – Restaurants
One way to spend Szeged Nightlife is having a dinner at one of the restaurants in the city. This will not only fill up one’s stomach but it will also give some time to relax.
Kiskorossy Halaszcsarda. This is one of the best and most popular angler restaurants in the city especially during summer season. It is located on the shores of Tisza River where guests can enjoy their meal outside while marveling at the view. The dishes served have the freshest seafood ingredients. Every now and then, there are also live performances with Hungarian folk music or Gypsy music.
Favilla. The name of this restaurant in English is Wooden Fork. Favilla dish up Hungarian Cuisine and a must try is the Halaszle which is a fish soup. The meal servings are abundant but the prices are very affordable.
Stuszi Vadasz Etterem. This is a small restaurant located in the pension Illes Panzio. The outdoor dining area gives a beautiful view and is a perfect setting during summer. It serves typical Hungarian cuisine and it specializes in hunting meats such as deer and boar.
Godor Restaurant. This restaurant is popular to different types of people. It serves International and Eclectic cuisine and specializes in fish and meat dishes. Aside from the delectable food, people frequent Godor because of its dining room in a terrace that gives a spectacular view and a nice breeze.
Szeged Nightlife – Bars and Clubs
Another way to spend Szeged Nightlife is to head to a bar or a club in the city. This is livelier than spending time in a restaurant and it gives tourists the chance to meet a few residents of the city. Gin Tonic. This basement club is located in the Tisza Hotel. This is a favorite nightspot of the foreign students in the city. Gin tonic plays the latest and most popular dance music. The club is usually jam-packed during Fridays because it is one of the most sought-after nightspots.
Jate Klub. This is one of the best nightspots in Szeged. It is popular to the young crowd mainly college students. It has a large bar that serves almost all kinds of drinks. Port Royal. This is one of the trendiest bars in Szeged. Guests can choose to sit on the island bar or on the outside seating area where they can mingle with tourists and locals. Port Royal also serves meals and has free Wi-Fi access.
Vizmu Club. This club is located close to the Tizsa River. It is a nice place to run away from the noise of the city center. Guests can also amuse themselves in games such as darts and table football.
