Barranquilla Nightlife, Colombia

Tourists have several options on how they will spend their night in the city of Barranquilla.  They can either spend it partying and drinking at the different bars or if they want a more relaxed and quiet atmosphere, they can choose to have a hearty meal at the restaurants in the city.

Barranquilla is a good place for people who enjoy drinking. The city has a number of bars that serve a wide selection of liquors.  Tourists can also dance all night in these bars.

Piche Caliche Café Bar.  Prepare yourself for a night of dancing in this bar that has the best rumba music in Barranquilla.  This is a place where you can meet a lot of students from the different universities in the area. Guests can drinks all the rum or beer they can handle. The price of the open bar is $10.50 for men while it is only $8 for women.  The place also serves dinner.

Bar Restaurante La Cueva.  This bar offers live Cuban or Jazz music.  It serves both lunch and dinner.  The dishes vary from Caribbean to Italian to Oriental but you should be aware that the prices are quite expensive.  The bar has a lot of different drinks.  One of the most favorite is the mango margarita.

Restaurants

Tourists who want to spend a more intimate night in the city can head to the different restaurants. Barranquilla offers different kinds of cuisine.  So whether you are looking for local dishes or other flavors from different parts of the world, the city has a lot to offer.

Restaurante Sarab.  This place serves Middle Eastern cuisine.  The guests can choose to dine inside the cozy and well-ventilated restaurant or have their dinner at the cool and breezy patio.  The place is also child and vegetarian-friendly.  The restaurant also has a bar where customers can order their favorite drink.

Pepe Anca Steakhouse & Bar.  This place is the best steakhouse in the city.  The interior appears to be warm and inviting with the orange light, ochre walls, and tables with dark blue and peach covers.  It also has an outdoor dining area.  The specialty of this steakhouse is Argentinean Angus beef.  The price may be costly but guests are assured to have the best quality for their food.

Govinda.  This place is perfect for vegetarians.  In addition to that, the costs of each meal are sure to fit in your budget.  The interior has a leaf-green color and there is an image of Krishna on the stained glass window.

Barranquilla is indeed a good example of a place where nights may be spent at several alternatives.  You have to choose whether you want to dance your night away or just fill your stomach to its content.  Either way, you will surely get what it takes to spend an evening in this Colombian city.
