Zibo Nightlife, China
Zibo, China has a limited nightlife compared to many other cities. You can find a few bars, and even a bowling alley, though, if you know where to look.
The Show Bar is a popular place with visitors and locals. There is live music most nights, and the bar is frequented on the weekends by mostly foreign visitors. The 48 Bar is located on Liu Quan Lu. It’s also another popular foreigner bar.
Lui Quan Lu is home to several bars and clubs, and some unique restaurants as well. You will hear the music from the bars long before you approach the street. As with anywhere in China, karaoke and disco are the popular local favorites.
For an unusual experience in Zibo, you can go bowling at the Feng Yang hotel. This hotel is a favorite with tourists because of the bowling alley and they also have a great restaurant that is open late.
Most of the three star hotels and above in Zibo have a bar. This is a great way to meet other foreigners to the county or just sit back and relax. Many will have karaoke in full swing for the evening, and you can either watch or take a chance and sing.
All around the city, you can find street vendors offering a wide array of foods. Be sure the food, especially the meat is cooked thoroughly, and look to see if the cooking area is at least somewhat clean. Avoid drinking the water and purchase bottled water for your stay.
Zibo is definitely an interesting city to visit. There are some great funeral ruins just north of the city that consist of chariot and horses graves. They are remarkably well preserved and worth the trip to see.
