Trois-Rivieres is about halfway between Montreal and Quebec City. The easiest way to reach it is by bus, about two hours from either Montreal or Quebec City. Route 40, which links these two cities, crosses Trois-Rivieres, so if you’re touring the region in a rented car, you won’t have any trouble finding it. Trois-Rivieres Airport, close to the city, is a smallish airport by international standards, but it has flights to and from Toronto and Monteal.

Once you’re in Trois-Rivieres you can easily explore the city centre on foot, although you might have to ask the locals for directions, since signs are quite rare.
