Cordoba History
Spanish warlords overthrew this ancient tribe around 1573 with a Captain Lorenzo Suarez de Figueroa entrusting General Jeronimo Luis Cabrera with breaking the valleys of the Sierras Chicas for the conquerors of Peru High (as they regarded themselves) for building the city of Cordoba in the New Andalusia.
