From Bucharest or Timisoara you can also take the plane to Cluj if you’re already in the country. There are regular flights to and from several European cities, such as Rome, Barcelona, Vienna or Paris. Cluj International Airport is located at about 20 minutes’ distance from the city centre by bus. Tickets can be purchased from the ticket booth near the bus station or at the terminal. The historic centre of the city is not overly large, so you can get around on foot. Public transport services in Cluj are fairly good and very cheap, but you can also take a taxi to get to some of the more remote neighborhoods.... Read more »
