We (me and my girlfriend) planned to go on a weeklong trip a long time ago, but we had to wait until our brand new car arrived and all the papers which we needed were ready. So we could start our trip only at the end of November. The weather was a bit chilly on Sunday morning when we left home but the good thing was that the sun was shining:)

The zoo at Nyiregyhaza was our first stop in this little trip. At home we looked up the address of the zoo on the internet, to know what to add in the GPS. It was a normal street name so we thought the zoo is in the city somewhere... we were wrong... we started to be frightened when we already saw the sing that we left the city of Nyiregyhaza and the GPS is still saying that we have to go some kilometers. But it was right, the zoo is outside the city, in the woods. This is a really good thing, because this way it is more natural.

There were very few people in the zoo (you can imagine how many people like to walk in a zoo when there are 2 grades Celsius outside:p), sometimes we even thought that we were alone.

Most of the animals could be seen, even monkeys and some tropical birds which I thought won't be at their places. We saw some really friendly penguins, a polar bear playing with a tire (we stood there 10 minutes and he was just playing and playing, like he will never get bored of it) and many other interesting animals. There is a part where you can go in and there are tropical plants and animals. Sadly, we couldn't took there any pictures because the difference between the temperature outside and inside was a bit too much and our camera became a bit wet. We thought it could cause problems.

At the end of our tour we just wanted to take a look again of the penguins and seals when we saw that some people are staying where the seals are and they are waiting for something. We realized that it's feeding time, and we knew that there is a little show when the attendants come to feed these animals. It's amazing how smart these animals are. They made many kind of tricks, jumped and turned round... they were really nice:)

This zoo is worth to see, because it's so natural. Maybe if there are many visitors you don't feel this like we felt, so my advice is to visit it in autumn like we did:)
