On a Sunday we decided to visit the Zoo in Debrecen with some friends and colleagues from the university.

We had a GPS so we found the Zoo easily. Parking there seemed really easy because on Sundays you don't have to pay for it. So we left our cars at a 2 minute walk from the entrance.

The Zoo is quite big, and it's very clean. We were there in May so there were quite many visitors, but we could stop to see every animal. I liked that many of the animals weren't behind glass or in a cage. They had an electric fence around their place so they didn't get out but you could see them perfectly :)

The penguins were really cute :) we could watch them only behind a glass but they came to us swimming. There are many different kinds of animals in this Zoo. It also has a tropical part which is inside a building and you can see there tropical fish, turtles, birds and little monkeys.

In the end we stopped at the giraffes. There are some wooden tables and benches in front of their place so you can sit there, relax and just watch them.
