Visiting Meteoras in Greece, Kalambaka

Near the city of Kalambaka lie those big monasteries carved into the rocks, called Meteoras. It's a wonderful pace, the landscape is amazing, there are loads of spots for picknick and hiking is a pleaseure here.
The nuns up there in the monasteries are very very kind. They sell soaps, honey, jam and other things made by them, it's wonderful. The roads are also really good, which actually surprised me, so don't hesitate to come by car, it's an about four hours drive from Athens.
You must see the Meteoras!!!
