Tipitina's was featured in The Big Easy, the 1987 film, and it is one o the liveslies night spot in the city.

It is a venue where you can see some interesting (and famous) indie bands, but at least once a week there are jazz nights as well.

It isn't as fancy as it used to be, but if you are looking for an unpretentious place with good music and several bars to keep up with the torrent of revelers. The club's a bit out of the way, but its worth the cab ride.

Address:
501 Napoleon Ave, New Orleans, LA 70115, USA
