Another famous palace, which regularly attracts tourist to Kochi, is the Hill Palace. This was built during the year of 1865 and it is the official residence of the royal family of Kochi. Hill Palace is famous by the name of Kunnummel Kottaram (in Malayalam language) amongst the locals.
