As its name also suggests, this local tourist transportation moves people from one attraction to the other. The railway is up high in the sky, so the view from the train is something worthwhile. You are given an insight into the city’s cultural and everyday life, spiced with the sight of colorful shops, restaurants, not to mention the town’s architectural delights and historic landmarks. To name only a few: Times Square, Cobo Center, Joe Louis Arena, Renaissance Center, Greektown, Grand Circus Park.

What blew my mind away was that the fee for such a rich tour is only 50cents. Some people might find annoying that the train stops at every few minutes but for me it was perfect, because I chose the tour to see, not just to sit on a train and watch from the window as buildings and sights go by.
