The city of Toshkent lost most of its historical monuments during two events which hit the city. First was the revolution of 1917 and second was the earthquake which hit the city somewhere in 1966. Although most of the historical era mountains were destroyed during these two events yet the city has many sights like various museums and many monuments from the Soviet Era.

The Chorsu Bazaar is one of the most famous markets of Toshkent. This market is located in the older city of Toshkent and it is assumed that you can find any product that you are looking for in this market.

Located in the proximity of Chorsu Bazaar is Kukeldash Madrassa which is right now being used as a mosque but there are plans that it will be converted to a museum in the coming years. Historians claim that the cornerstone for this monument was laid somewhere during the rule of Abdullah Khan (who ruled from 1557 till 1598). As the monument is quiet old hence it attracts many tourists towards itself.

Another famous tourist hot spot is the Toshkent Gallery of Modern Art has many modern signatures which are always appreciated by those who visit this gallery. As of today the gallery contains many posters related with the United Nations and arts of many young artists.

Toshkent TV Tower is the place to be if you want to enjoy the view of complete city. It has been divided into many levels for people to view the city from different levels and it also has restaurants in case you feel like feeding yourself.

The famous Amir Temur Park contains the Amir Temur Museum. This museum is housed in a beautiful monument which is the major reason why so many locals and foreigners visit this museum.

Last but not the least is the amusement park for the city of Toshkent. Named as Toshkentland (which is located in the proximity of Toshkent TV Tower), it boasts of some rides worth enjoying at least once. One should note that the park might not offer much to those who have already visited the famous huge amusement parks of this planet. The place is worth visiting for those who want to run away from the hoopla of the city for some time and are looking for peace.
