Grand Prairie is an incredible city of Dallas, Tarrant Counties and Ellis in Texas and is a great part of mid- Cities region of Dallas- Fort Worth Metroplex. The Trinity River’s West Fork along with an important tributary called the Johnson Creek also flows through the Grand Prairie. This area has a very long history regarding this creek as in the 1990s Grand Prairie experienced a great flood from Johnson Creek. This is among those cities of United States that are witnessing a fast growth and development in all sectors.
With the steady development that this city has shown over the years and the incredible recreational and entertainment facilities that it has to offer, Grand Prairie is fast becoming a much sought after place to hit during vacations. The Prairie Lights is a two mile long display that features more than 3 million lights. The Santa’s elves, reindeer, snowmen, penguins, angels, lollipops, stars and in fact the longest light tunnels of the world are also showcased well on the display in the forty day event that is held here. The incredible theme park of the Grand Prairie offers an awesome out of car experience for the car lovers as well. This is held at Holiday Village mid-way through drive with the carousel rides, concessions and the Santa’s store.
