Arlington is a suburban area in Tarrant County of Texas. Known as the Fun Central, this city is located between Fort Worth and Dallas. From Texas Rangers baseball team to Six Flags over Texas theme park and Legends of Game Baseball Museum in Ameriquest Field, this city celebrates the state with a huge variety of attraction points.
There is a huge choice for services and accommodations in Arlington along with restaurants, golf courses and shops. Although it does not have a mass transit system, the trolley shuttle delivers the visitors from convention center and area hotels to various local sights. The science center has living aquaria, interactive exhibits and also offers guided walk tours.
Theme and Amusement parks: The Six Flags Hurricane Harbor is a water park which includes Hook’s Lagoon and Boogie Beach area. Special events and shows are conducted here in which visitors can also take part. Putt Putt Entertainment center offers championship course for putting, go-carts and large rooms for games. This center serves as a great place for fun with family. Six Flags over Texas is a theme park which offers giant size roller coasters rides and also family friendly rides. Top class entertainment acts are also hosted here.
Water bodies: Lake Arlington has been located on the Village Creek of Tarrant County. Various recreational activities can also be found in this place. Visitors have the opportunity to fish, camp and swim at the reservoir.
